F A I T H (Fighting Addition:  It Takes Help) is an organization created to raise awareness of the effects of addiction, not only to the individual with the addiction, but their family as well as their community.  It is our hope to bring awareness and education to the entire Green County community.  Many people have been affected by addiction to alcohol or drugs in their own family or know of someone who has been affected.  Addiction to narcotics in particular continues to grow.  An addiction to narcotic pills may lead one into trying other dangerous substances, including heroin.  Overdoses in rural areas of Wisconsin account for a significant portion of the heroin overdoses seen in our state.  Green County heroin overdose rates have risen from 0 per 100,000 in 2008 to 12-26 per 100,000 in 2012 (scaoda.state.wi.us).

 

We are asking for help from our local communities. We aspire to bring education into the schools of Green County to educate our children, as well as possible forums to educate the public.  All proceeds earned will go back into the community to promote addiction awareness to allow us to continue our quest to make a difference. We have been deemed 501 (c) (3) for non-profit status.
